What is Gender Identity? It is one's own internal sense of self and their gender, whether that is man, woman, neither or both. The following describes three types of gender identity.

• Cisgender - a person whose gender identity
  aligns with the sex they were assigned at birth.

• Transgender - a person whose gender identity
  is different than the sex they were assigned at birth.

• Non-Binary - a person who does not identify exclusively
  as a man or a woman.
